Brgy. Matawe / Cabog

By virtue of Municipal Ordinance No. 2003-58 dated Aug. 04, 2003 of the Sangguniang Bayan of Dingalan, Brgy. Cabog was renamed as Brgy. Matawe. The barangay is situated 8 kilometers south of Poblacion and can be reach by land via provincial road. Matawe occupied an area of 3,129 hectares more or less with mountainous to rolling-flat terrain.

Population / Education

The total population of Brgy. Matawe as of Census 2010 is 3,090. There are two elementary schools in Matawe. High School student is serves by Ibona National High School.

Economic

Production forest covers 15.5% while agricultural land that accounts to 252 hectares (8.0%) is broken down to 1.3% riceland, and 6.7 other crops (coconut, citrus, vegetables, etc.)
