Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment conducted in Dingalan, Aurora

The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) conducted an annual Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) Assessment in the Local Government Unit of Dingalan, Aurora last June 10, 2014 spearheaded by the DILG-Region 3 together with the Municipal Interior Local Government Operations Officer (MILGOO) in coordination with the Local Government Unit thru its municipal mayor, Mayor Zenaida Q. Padiernos.

DILG-Region 3 - " Mr. Dennis Daquiz, Mr. Girard Sawit, and Ms. Melody Valdez, Engr. Sheila Perez of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers, and Mr. Jesus Vizconde Jr. of MILGOO evaluated the performance of the frontline services of the LGU that included Good Financial Housekeeping, Disaster Preparedness, Social Protection, Business-Friendliness and Competitiveness, and Environmental Management.

The projects and programs of the frontline services implemented by the LGU for the year 2013 were evaluated. The result of the evaluation will be the basis of who will be handling the Bottoms Up Budgeting (BUB) for the next year and whether the LGU will get a Seal of Good Housekeeping for the certain year. Moreover, the SGLG Assessment was conducted to ensure that the role and purpose of the Local Government Unit is well addressed and performed.
